November has been somewhat slow. I was sort of dissappointed that the Altares y Tumbas thingie at the UACJ got cancelled... I was really looking forward to spending time w mom n dad and drinking champurrado with buñuelitos mmmm champurrado... gaaah!!!! But oh well, I guess there's always next year.
I have received news that Andrew has left the bird's nest. And by this I mean that Andrew has flew tha coop and is now a semi-free man. He is living in a middle house (is that the term?) in Houston. How do I know this?Because his mother thought I should know...
Not that I don't care...
Packers won -- aiyeee!!! vs cowboys. All is well in the universe.
The lit workshop is going great. This week we'll have a reading. Gonna take lotz of pictures about it and then share them with all of you. I am currently helping Antonio to edit his book, Oriana. It's a pretty cool short story book that acts like novel chapters. So far I have read chapters 1 - 11 and they're pretty good. I wish him all the luck in the world with it. Ah! Also, a new member to the workshop came it. It was good to see him after all this time -- Daniel Aguirre!!! :D I wanted to ask him if he had a copy of his poem about Peggassus... but I think I'll save that one for another time.
Heaven provided, my short story drought will soon be over. Got to read a couple of stories that have sort of made the engines turn slooooooooooooooooooooooooowly.....
:D God bless tha Freaks!
