November is almost over, and the first red moon shone over the weekend, announcing the coming of cold weather and, finger crossing, snow. I love snowy city... even though I do realize that there is a lot of people who are having a hard time over the winter. However, that does not eliminate my needy craving for a snowy december.
Christmas is probably my second favorite holiday, aside from Halloween... and it's not even about the `presents anymore... thought they are sort of cool when you get them. For me is more about the cooking, the cookies, and the embelishments! Tree, candles, spheres, gingerbread cookie man!!! YEAH! I love that! :D
Today I went all coo coo bananas and downloaded a bunch of cds -- mostly Glee and some new Christmas CDs I wanted... oh! And I am watching The Walink Dead, at least for now. I don't want to get all my hopes up and just find that the show is a one-trick pony and I stop watching after chapter two... jajajaja wouldn't THAT be a kick in the pants! NO! A kick in tha pants would be if I love the show, get hooked on it and then THEY CANCEL IT!!! LOL!!!
Well, the workshop is up and running. We have a lecture next Sunday, at one of the local libraries. Wish us luck -- we're gonna need it.
Okay, so I write what is Day 6 -- I know that I am taking my own sweet time with these, but it's because I have no internet at home. I am, however, looking into getting it this month.
30 Days of Truth -- Day 6
Something you hope you never have to do.
I hope I never have to hear about a family member or a friend becoming victim of the violence in this city.
